LET'S TALK MOVIES!!!

 

      As we all know, this is when we get to see what Jacob was talking about when he explained about the "cold ones" first time in Forks.  This is also when Edward leaves Bella for nearly a year.  With a birthday party gone wrong, Bella got a paper cut and Jasper went nuts.  Edward thought it was too much for his family with Bella being human, so he thought it was best if they moved.  Leaving Bella behind, she became very depressed.  Never leaving her home unless to go to school, and when at school, ignoring her friends completely.  After several months of being depressed and screaming from nightmares, Charlie had had enough and thought it would be best if she moved back with her mom.  Talk about a snap in reality, she quickly said no and that she wanted to stay in Forks. In fact, she was planning on hanging out with Jessica.  Jessica wasn't very thrilled with that idea but she went with it anyway.  After seeing a movie with Jessica, Bella saw some guys that she thought she "knew" and decided to go see them.  As she walked down the street, she saw an image of Edward that was trying to tell her to stop and turn around.  Desperate to see his face again, she continued down the street and hopped on the back of the motorcycle.  Bella quickly became an adrenaline junky, always wanting to something dangerous just to see Edward.  Bella also started to connect with the rest of the world again.  Hanging out with other friends, she went to the movies with Jacob and Mike. The rest of the gang couldn't make it cause they all got sick with flu, apparently Mike was feeling so well his self.  Mike left early and so did Jacob.  Bella tried to calm Jacob down, she realized he was burning up.  After promising Bella that he would never hurt her, he to left and never called or returned her phone calls.  Thinking about all the time they spent together, she refused to go through the whole depression state again.  When she went to go see Jacob, he looked different.  His hair was cut, muscles appeared to a little bigger, and all that hair was gone.  When she noticed Sam and the rest of the guys, she thought that Sam had done something to him.  Reminding Jacob of the promise he made her, he still told her that he couldn't talk to her anymore and walked away.  Later, Bella tried to go to that place in the field where Edward took her and she found Laurant instead.  Again, an image of Edward appeared telling Bella to lie, lie better.  Laurant was still on human blood and was acting on a favor for Victoria.  However,  he wanted to have her to himself, but before he could do anything some giant werewolves appeared from the trees.  Bella ran home and told Charlie that it wasn't giant bears, but giant werewolves.  What Bella didn't know was that Victoria was back in town and was looking for her.  Wanting revenge for the death of her lover James, she continued to get close, but each time she tried the wolves chased her off for a little while.  Bella got a visit from Jacob that night, he wanted to tell her so bad but he couldn't even though he already did once before.  Not truly understanding what he meant, she stopped by his house to him, but he was sleeping.  She noticed Sam and crew standing outside waiting on Jacob, so she ran out there demanding what Sam had done to Jacob.  However, Paul decided that he would jump in and answer the questions, until Bella slapped him.  Getting very angry, Sam told Bella to get back and Paul turned into a werewolf.  With Jacob running out of the house, Bella thought that she would yell out to him to worn him about Paul, but to her surprise, Jacob turns too.  Trying to wrap her head around things, two of the boys drive her to Sam's place where she meets Emily for the first time.  A few days later, Bella decided to go Cliff diving so that she can get that rush again and see Edward.  Not realizing that Victoria was heading right towards her.  As she jumped in, large amounts of waves was putting her deeper into the water as they slammed into her, when she saw a glimpse of Victoria and slammed her head on the rock.  Jacob makes it to Bella in time and once again, she is saved.

 

      With Alice's special ability, because of Bella spending so much time with Jacob, Alice can't see Bella's future.  Thinking that Bella was dead, Alice came back to Forks and and to her surprise, Bella was still alive.  Before Jacob left, a phone call came through and Jacob answered.  Turns out, it was Edward.  Making Edward think that the funeral was for Bella, Edward no longer saw a reason to live.  Alice found out and rushed in to tell Bella, so it was time to go to Rome and save Bella's true love.

 

 

      Once they got to Rome, Bella had 5 minutes to get to the clock tower before the 12 o'clock.  Edward was planning on showing himself to the people in Rome after the Volturi refused to end his gifted life.  When Bella got to Edward he didn't believe that it was her.  It took some time for Edward to open his eyes and look at her and realize that she was still alive.  However, the fact that he was going to show himself did not reflect good on the Volturi.  Aro sent Demetri and Felix to get Edward, but they ended up with Edward, Bella, and Alice.  As Edward tried to explain that he no longer needed their services, Demetri explained that Aro needed to see him anyway.  After a lot of back and forth, Jane entered the hallway silencing everyone and making them all follow her.  Aro was not pleased of what Edward was planing on doing, but seemed very pleased that Bella was still alive.  Of course, Bella's life was not his concern and was about to end Edward's as well as Bella's.  Edward started fighting with Demetri to keep him from getting to Bella and Bella screamed to save Edward.  Aro was surprised by her reaction while wondering why she was so willing to give her life to save his knowing what he is as while as keep their existence a secret.  Wanting to know what she thinks, Aro, with his gift, grabs Bella's hand finds that his gift is useless on her.  So, Aro calls for Jane, her gift is she make you feel things as if they are really happening.  Jane looks at Edward and says, "Pain."  Edward drops to the floor looking like he is in so much pain that it makes Bella scream, "Stop!"  Then Aro tells Jane to do it to Bella, with a smile on her face she turns and says, "This might hurt a little."  Aro being so happy with the results and Jane very upset, nothing happened to Bella.  Still wanting to end her life, Alice intervenes and tells Aro that Bella is going to become one of them and she has seen it.  Aro takes her hand and sees the same thing.  With that reassurance, Aro lets everyone live and lets the go, but as the leave they are reminded that the transformation must go through and the Volturi does not give second chances.  Once they returned home, Bella made the choice to become a vampire and join the Cullens family even though they already saw her as part of their family.  With Edward not wanting this life for her, he said no.  Bella took a vote with the Cullens.......

 

"Alice?"

"I already see you as my sister, of course."

"Jasper?"

"Yes. It would be nice not wanting to eat you."

"Rose?"

"This was not the life I wanted, I wish someone had been there to vote no for me,

so, I vote No."

"Emmett?"
"I vote Hell Yes.  We can figure out another way to pick a fight with the Volturi."

"Esme?"

"I already see you as part of the family, I vote yes."

"Carlisle?"

Edward interrupts, "Why are y'all doing this to me?"

"You choose not to live without her, so you leave me no choice.  I refuse to loose a son.

I vote yes."

 

      As Edward was taking Bella home, Jacob was in the middle of the road waiting for them so that he could have a talk with Edward.  Both Edward and Bella got out of the car and met Jacob in the woods.  After a very heated conversation between Jacob and Edward, Bella explains to Jacob that she will turn and it's her choice.  Jacob gets upset and leaves in wolf form.  At the end, Edward asked Bella to marry him.

 

      I think I enjoyed this movie more than the first one.   These movies just kept getting better which made them that much more enjoyable.  I give this movie 5 stars.  I like how it focused a little more on Jacob and showed us who the Volturi was, so it was very nice, I became hooked completely.  It also didn't help that I read the books so the books alone had me hooked.  However, the books go into more detail than the movie.  Well folks that's all for now, stay tuned as we try to finish up the rest of the Twilight Saga.  Til next time........
