Rock those heels girl!

LET'S TALK SHOES!!!!

Do you like what you see?  Most of us can't help ourselves.  We just love shoes, right?  However, most women can't really walk in these shoes.  Though we love them, the length of the heels are not always our friends.  For example, take these shoes below........

Almost everything looks good in black.  LOOK AT THAT HEEL!!!  No way could walk in that.
If you think about all the many times you have seen a woman walking in high heel shoes, think about how she is walking in them.  Some women don't even realize that they can't walk in these kind of heels.  However, many can, and I take my hat off to those who can.

Now I'm sure you're wondering why I chose this subject.  Let tell you.  I was out one evening picking up a package and well I had to wait for the package to arrive, I noticed a well dressed woman walk in.  The first thing I noticed was those great looking shoes.  They were the kind that had the "original" boot look with a very high heel.  The heel was similar to picture above.  That's pretty freaking high, Right?  The next thing I noticed was the way she was walking.  The first thing that came to mind was, "She really can't walk in those shoes."

So what should you do if you find yourself walking funny (and not in a good way)?  Practice, or just change the height of your next heel.  You may be able to "rock" those heels, but what does that really mean?  In my opinion, when someone tells you that you are "rocking" those heels, that means not only are those shoes good looking and look good on you with whatever you are wearing, but that you can walk "right" in them.  Bottom line, if you can't walk in them, don't buy them.  Do what I do and wear the ones you know, without a doubt, you can walk in.........

That's all for now folks.  Til next time..........

NOT JUST MOVIES ANY MORE

LET'S TALK?????

I'm going to change things up a little bit.  A really good friend of mind told me, "Not everyone is into just movies.  May you should switch things up and talk about other things too."
At first I wasn't so sure, but now I'm thinking, "Why not."  What's the worst that could happen, no one would read it...... Well, it's not like there's a lot of people reading it now.  No worries, I will still be posting about movies.  However, I plan on having a few "random" postings as well.  May that will draw a few more viewers to my blog.............hmm.

      Till we meet again folks......

LET'S TALK?????

Witch Hunters

We all know the story of the two kids who get lost and find this house made of candy and there's a witch inside who likes to eat children.  Like most tails, they end with a happy ending, right?  Well, in this story, there's still a happy ending, however, there is alot of fighting, shooting, stabbing, exploding, and BLOOD..........  Today's topic,

HANSEL AND GRETEL

LET'S TALK MOVIES!!!

This new and improved version of Hansel and Gretel took me a little by surprise.  For example, there were no bread crumbs to lead them back home, they didn't voluntarily leave on their own, and you don't hear anything about any other witches other than the one trying to eat them.  We also find out that Hansel could die if he doesn't take his meds every so often.  Turns out diabetes has been around for a long time.  The difference is his meds gets him back on his feet just seconds after taking them.  Anyway, there are good witches and bad witches and there is a way to tell the difference between the two.  However, Hansel and Gretel didn't know there was a such thing.

Hansel and Gretel's parents tried to hide them from the witches and town's people some where in the woods, and they were planing on coming back for them.  However, the town's people had other plans.  They burned the mother, who just so happened to be a good witch, and hung the father, who was just a regular guy.  Once the children escaped the witch, burning her in her own grill or oven, they became the witch hunters.  Each and every time they crossed a witch, they killed them and saved other children.  Once they got older, there was one witch that made things a little difficult for them.  They called this witch an Elder Witch.  She was the kind that could change into human form and witch form, while other witches could not.  In the end, there was some kind of spell that could keep the witches from burning.  All they needed was 12 children and the heart of a "white" witch (good witch).  Of course there's still a happy ending.  So Hansel and Gretel learn the truth about their parents and defeat the elder witch.  With a little help from a fan and a white witch (who died trying to save Hansel).

I have to say that I love the way Hollywood takes these stories that we grew up on and add their on twist to them.  I do not recommend the kids watch, I'm just saying. Make sure you watch it first before you think it's ok for them.  This movie had some action to it and those who love blood and guts flying everywhere, I'm sure you too would like this movie.  I really did enjoy this movie, so I give this movie 4 stars.

Well, that's it for now folks, stay tuned for more movies coming up soon.  Til next time........
