Tyler Perry's Temptation

LET'S TALK MOVIES!!!

Here is a movie that needs to be talked about.  If there is one thing Tyler Perry does well, it's movies and plays like this one.  He has this thing with life lessons and turns them into good movies, sometimes they're funny and sometimes they're not.  Temptation is one of those movies I think a lot of women and men should see because the plot is something many people have gone through or is going through it.

In this movie you have a young woman who married her high school sweet heart and was happy, until she met another man through her job.  She got her degree in counseling, but was working for a "dating" service as the interviewer.  When the company she works for decides to merge with a social network company, things get a little messy.

The CEO of this social network begins to work very closely with the young woman.  He starts to tell her how he would treat her, where he would take her, what he would buy her, and how different and better and how spontaneous the sex would be.  Told her how pretty she was.  Questioned her marriage and made her believe that there is something better than what she has.  Unfortunately, it all worked out in his favor.

On the other hand, there is a woman who is running from a man that beat her on a regular.  Not that I don't blame her for running away, she good reasons to.  However, she didn't run far enough.  Before I forget to mention, the guy she is running from is the same guy running the social network company.  This woman finds a job with the young woman's husband and neither of them have a clue that they are talking about the same man, that is until she decides to tell him she has HIV.

Needless to say, in the end the young woman and the CEO start arguing.  The young woman gets beat up so badly that after her wounds healed, she was never the same and was HIV positive too.  Although she lost her husband, they remained good friends.  She did become a marriage counselor, but she didn't have her own practice like she wanted.

In the end people, don't let anyone come into your happy home and take everything away from you and your family.  Just because you made a mistake and you realize that you made that mistake, that doesn't mean that your number one person will always be there to pick you up and still stay with you.  I give this movie 4 stars.  It was a really good movie, the only complaint I have is that is was too predictable.  I love the plays and movies Tyler Perry does because almost everybody can relate to them.  Well folks, that's all for now.  Til next time.............

IRON MAN 3

LET'S TALK MOVIES!!!

Lights, camera, action.  The best part of this movie was the action.  I've said it before and I will say it again, I love action based movies.  Moving forward, this was one of the best out of all three (in my opinion).  The only thing I didn't like about it was the fact that it didn't have nearly as much action as Iron Man 2.  I have to say though, when the house starts to come down, due to some rockets from the helicopter, I really like the way Stark made sure Pepper was safe and then she saved him.

If you notice, in every hero based movie that has a sequel, they always remember their mistakes and it always comes back to haunt them.  The day Iron Man became who he is was day all his problems started.  In this movie, Iron Man has anxiety attacks which came from his help of saving the world in Avengers.  After dealing with that, he realized the most important person he should have been keeping safe the whole time.  That's a good thing, right?  For most men, they don't figure that out til it's too late......lol.

In the end, Iron man finds out who the real man behind the crimes are and once again saves the day and saves Ms. Pepper.  He also decided to get help for himself.  Now, before end this, there was word that Robert was no longer going to play as Iron Man after this movie.  I'm not sure how much of this is true, however, at the end of the movie, Stark says Iron Man will be back.  Also, if you are a true Marvel fan like myself and my family, then you know that at the very end of the movie there is always some form of short clip, so if you go and see it, be sure to stay after the credits roll.  I give Iron Man 5 stars.  I mean sure, it could have used a little more action, but lets not over do it.  Til next time folks........
