Rap music just isn't the same anymore

LET'S TALK RAP MUSIC

I'm back!!!!!  Today we are going to change things up a little bit.  Instead of movies, let's talk about how horrible rap music today really sucks.  If you are having the old school rap music blues, I'm right there with you.  What happened to the way music used to be.  Now a days you rap about anything and get signed.  Right now, the only rappers that didn't change much (lets be honest, you have to grow up sometime) is Luda and Busta.  I mean sure they've changed, but for the better (in my own opinion).  This Wiz guy, I mean the best song he did (in my opinion) was Black and Yellow. Then you got some dude named Waka Flocka, who?  I'm sure no one is REALLY paying these guys any attention.  Think about it.  It's the beats that these guys have that has everyone screaming, "Man this track is Hot!"  If they were really listening, I'm sure they would agree that this is garbage.

These guys out here rapping now are nothing like the legends that have made their marks.  They can't bring people together to enjoy their music.  You say you like this crap they're spitting these days?  Who's your favorite artist, and what is your favorite line?  Can you even name your favorite line?  Even those we once enjoyed is falling off.  Kanye West new album (I sampled it) doesn't even seem like him anymore.  My favorite line from one of his songs is, "Do anybody spit real sh-- anymore?" If someone was to ask me that question, I would have to answer no.  What happened to old school West and Jay?  Missing B.I.G and Pac right now.  NWA, Ice Cube, old school Luda and Busta, I mean the list just keeps growing.  Even old school Dr. Dre and Snoop.  What happened to rap?  Where did it truly go?  You can't even turn on the radio without hearing this "new school" rap.  Did they forget who put rap on the map? I talking about Slick Rick, Big Daddy Kane, Queen Latifah, De La Soul, Mc Lyte, Kool G Rap, Kurtis Blow, and many many more.  They were the ones who started this. I mean yes you have your blues, R&B, jazz, country, so on and so on, but these legends changed the way we listen to music.  Rap has been changing year after year.  It went from good, to bad, to better, and now WTF.  I think a lot of these artist need to go back to the booth, put on their headphones, listen to what made rap the way it was, and start over.  The ones that lost their way need go back and listen to what made them hot and do it again.  I don't know what happen, but I know they can keep what ever it is they are calling the mess.  I'm better off without the radio and their so called rap music.

Well, that's all I have to say about that right now.  If you think I'm wrong (even though this is just my opinion) then leave a comment, tell me who you think I should listen to, or pick a song you think I should listen to.  If you can do that, I can listen and then I will post what I think.  Til next time folks.........
